By purchasing, downloading, or using any product from Pivot Studio (pivot-studio.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Products

These terms apply to all digital products sold through Pivot Studio, including but not limited to:

  • Software tools and plugins (e.g., for 3ds Max)
  • 3D models, scenes, and assets
  • Textures, materials, and presets
  • Licensable content and other downloadable files

2. Licensing

Unless otherwise stated in the product description or accompanying license file:

  • Single-User License: Each license is for one individual or entity and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
  • Software Activations: Software licenses may be activated on one computer at a time.
    • An automatic license transfer is allowed after a defined cooldown period (e.g., 5 days).
    • Manual transfers may be requested by contacting support.
  • Usage: Products are licensed for both personal and commercial use.
  • License Types (if applicable):
    • Indie License: For individuals or freelancers.
    • Studio License: For teams, companies, or design offices.

3. Ownership and Copyright

All products are the intellectual property of Pivot Studio unless otherwise noted.
You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute any part of the software or source code
  • Sell or share downloaded products with third parties
  • Resell or redistribute any derivative 3D models created with our software tools unless explicitly permitted

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Pivot Studio.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are not allowed for any digital product.

Exception: For software tools, a refund may be granted only in rare cases where the product cannot be successfully used due to a technical issue that remains unresolved after direct communication with support.

If a refund is granted:

  • The license will be permanently disabled.
  • Further use of the product will constitute a violation of these terms.
  • Reactivation after refund is subject to manual approval.

5. Support and Updates

  • Support Period: Software purchases include direct email support for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
    • Support after this period is not guaranteed unless the issue is critical or related to activation, licensing, or an emergency use case.
  • Updates: Free updates are provided for all products within their current major version series (e.g., version 1.x). Access to future major versions may require a new license.

6. System Requirements and Compatibility

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that their system meets the technical requirements stated on the product page.
We recommend keeping your system up to date and installing software tools while signed in as an administrator.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

All products are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind—express or implied. This includes but is not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Pivot Studio shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

8. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Pivot Studio is based.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

9. Additional Terms

  • All licenses are non-transferable and cannot be shared without prior written permission.
  • Users are responsible for backing up their work and ensuring software compatibility.
  • Violation of these terms may result in license suspension or termination.
